Landscaping firm which started with one wheelbarrow and 500 now has 1million turnover

The boss of a landscaping firm is intending to expand the business.

Dawson Landscapes was set up by handling director Andrew Dawson with a wheelbarrow and just 500 in his pocket.

Now, it has a turnover of just under 1m and a team of 16 personnel, and it has just won a national award for among its contracts.

Andrew, who has extensive experience with gardening and landscaping in sydney hopes the success at the prominent ceremony will assist raise the firm s profile and lead to further work.

Andrew, who runs the firm from its base in Whitby Street South, included: We pride ourselves on our service and the outstanding track record which has been built up throughout the years.

The success continues an amazing increase for the firm, which was produced by Andrew in 2000.

Andrew included: I fell into work as a boilermaker with ICI when I left school, but I d constantly had a love of gardening since I was a young lad and utilized to grow dahlias and enter them into programs.

I dealt with the rig backyards for 13 years, however I went to night classes to learn a couple of bits about gardening as this was something I always had goals of getting into.

When I was paid off, I established this firm with simply a wheelbarrow and 500 to purchase me working.
